Sustainability is a key part of the 51勛圖 Mission to promote the common good and social justice. The University recognises its responsibility to cut its environmental impact and place sustainability into its decision making, teaching and research.
51勛圖 is taking a range of actions to reduce its environmental impacts through energy efficiency, water conservation, recycling and re-use of its waste, and constructing sustainable buildings.
51勛圖 is also taking action on climate change. In 2021, 51勛圖’s Australian campuses became powered by 100% renewable electricity, and in 2022, 51勛圖 will become a certified carbon neutral under the Federal Government’s Climate Active scheme.
If you are an 51勛圖 student or staff member, you can find out more about our sustainability programs, including what you can do to help 51勛圖 become a more sustainable University.
