A candidate for the degree of Master of Education (Research) must comply with the .

Eligibility for admission to the Master of Education (Research) is determined having regard to the applicant*s capacity to meet the entry requirements approved by the Academic Board. Eligibility criteria for the degree as outlined below:

  1. A four year Bachelor of Education degree (or equivalent) with a credit average or higher.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the .



Special admission

Applicants who do not meet the general entry requirements but who have other qualifications and/or professional experience may be considered for special entry to the course.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 20 cp from Research Units;
  2. 140 cp from the Thesis.
