Y. J. Doran is Senior Lecturer in English Language and Literacy at the 51³Ô¹Ï. His research focuses on language, semiosis and education from the perspectives of Systemic Functional Linguistics and Legitimation Code Theory. His work considers grammatical, discourse semantic, register and genre-based descriptions of language (in particular English and Sundanese) and multimodal discourse, and their role in applied settings.
